Keyboard shortcuts and commands

Use keyboard shortcuts, slash commands, mentions, and dictation in the Mizura workspace.

The composer

Type / or @ in the composer to open filtered suggestions, or open the unified actions menu. Choose a row with the mouse, ↑/↓ and Enter, or Tab. A slash prompt inserts a starter command; finish the request in your own words and send it. Commands that take variables open the column picker after selection.

TypeChoicesWhat selection does
Analysis prompts/regress, /diagnostics, /eda, /compare, /hypothesizeInsert a prompt starter. Regression, comparison, and hypothesis testing can offer the dataset column picker.
Workspace actions/report, /export, /quarto, /notebook, /dictate, /settingsOpen the report, outputs, or settings view, or toggle dictation. These actions do not send an analysis prompt.
@ mentionsDataset columns, active dataset, report, generated figures and tables, bookmarked evidenceInsert a reference into your message. Column suggestions show type and available summary or missing-value information.
  1. For an analysis prompt, choose a slash command, finish the inserted request with the question and variables, then send it.
  2. For context, choose an @ suggestion and confirm the reference appears in the draft before sending.
  3. For supplementary files, use the plus menu or drop a supported attachment into the composer. Check its attachment pill before sending; remove it there if it is the wrong file.

A dataset is loaded into the workspace; a supplementary file is attached to the message. Supported dataset formats and sources are in Your data. Dictation is push-to-talk: select the microphone to record, select it again to stop and transcribe, then the final text is inserted at the composer caret saved when recording started. Transcribing disables the microphone until it completes. Recording permission or transcription errors appear under the composer; unsupported recording disables the control. Configure the spoken language and up to 100 domain terms in Settings → Data & System.

If a slash or mention menu does not open, type the marker at the start of the composer or after a space, or open the unified actions menu. If dictation is disabled or fails, check microphone access, then the language and terms in Settings; see Troubleshooting if it still fails.

Enter sends and Shift+Enter inserts a line break. While autocomplete is open, Enter or Tab chooses the highlighted suggestion. After a slash prompt has been inserted, Backspace at the end of an otherwise empty command removes its command token. Mizura warns that generated answers can contain mistakes; verify critical findings. See Evidence & literature.
